I don't know what it is....If you read my post from yesterday, you know a game of mine was stolen and is now one of the top-viewed things on this site (which is run by EA!)

Now...while I'm pissed that it seems I have no way of claiming this game back as mine, It also made me want to make something new in flash again...I mean, it was one of the most viewed, and I put very little effort into that game, yet people loved it.

I really do think I have some form of talent hiding out in the back of my skull, that occasionally comes out and impresses everyone.

While I really want to make another flash game, every time I open flash, I just stare at the blank white screen for a few seconds, then close the window...I just don't know.

I WANT to make something, I really do, but every idea I get I just think "oh, I could never do that" or "I'm not gonna finish that. I'll get bored half-way though development."

Due to being part of this generation, I've grown a ridiculously small attention span. If I can't finish this game in a single day, I'll give up on it.

Sure, I could finish more than half the game that first day, and it'll look fantastic, but as soon as I go to sleep that night, my interest flies right out the window. I log on the next day and look at that near-done game...and just think "eh, to hell with that."

Why? I don't know.

I currently actually have about a half-finished mouse avoider with more than 30 levels just setting on my desktop. I just don't want to finish it now though...I don't know why. I'll start working on it, and get bored within a few minutes.

I'm really angry with myself...I mean, what the fuck am I doing? How do I expect to finish ANYTHING if I can't even finish a simple mouse avoider?

Why am I trying?

WHAT THE FUCK DO I THINK I'M DOING?

I mean, I look though my flash folder and see so much undone...

Part of USM3, A 2/3 finished RPG Maker XP character creator, a 1/4 done Music Video, A maybe 1/4 done Madness Cartoon...why aren't I finishing any of these? I have some files I've had since 2007 now...

Ugh, Its not that I have a complete lack of inspiration...I have so many ideas...yet I can't just sit down and work all the way though one...it just really frustrates me.

I also keep trying to quit newgrounds but every time I do...a few weeks later something catches my eye and suddenly BAM! I just want to create something! I start a flash and the next day....I don't work on it.

Anyways, I'm sure if this even gets any comments or views, it'll be along the lines of "TL;DR"

I love how I keep pretending I have some sort of fan-base.

Sorry, but i'm afraid my time with flash is up. I'm not making anything else, and I probably never will.

It was a fun phase while it lasted. I will still be on this website, but flash just doesn't interest me anymore.

Ive been thinking of reviving this old account with some actual submissions. But I really feel as though I might give up right away like usually...I'm not sure.

But I think i'm ready. No more scene makers, no trying to mimic the awesome series art style, I'm going to animate my dreams and even if I don't feel satisfied with the art, I won't give up.

I want to make music videos with flash. Almost every song I like ive written a story to in video form within my head, I want to tell every one of these stories.

The first one I might be trying is one of the following:

Are you Gonna be my Girl - Jet

I want to see if anyone still even remembers me. Im sorry to those who loved my scene makers, but those were just weak flash projects i'd rather forget. I'll keep them online for the fans of them, but don't expect me to answer reviews or update them again. or even a USM3 any time soon.

I'll wait for some patches to fix all the bugs before reviewing then.

Its filled with so many game-breaking bugs such as not being able to save, shitty online, losing your data, and so many terrible things that its really not ready to play yet. Way to beta test guys.

Not saying don't buy it, its a fantastic game, but when you get a bug you'll be pissed and not want to play again. I know I don't now.

Its been a long ass time since that last news post and naturally, ive still done jack shit. Eh, I don't understand. I'm just really losing all the appeal of flash. Animation just takes too long. Its hard to stay focused on a single idea for that long. Well, anyways, I havent been up to much in the meantime. I have been working on a mmorpg that you can get a preview of at www.revivalonline.webs.com (dont expect it too soon.)

Ive also been toying with a little mario paint composer simulator so I might make some of the tracks ive done with it into MP3's and put em on newgrounds just for shits and giggles.

Anyways, Atomic Toast Studios is still continueing to make absolutely nothing new!

This is some big news that ive just made up in my mind. Ive really been moving away from newgrounds and flash in general and im changing all of it. Ive decided to almost re-do the entire image atomictoast currently holds and nearly start from scratch. From now on ive got a few new promises:

1. No more games, all my games suck. Im not good at actionscript.
2. No more submissions that took less than 2 weeks of work.
3. Actual animation, less tweening.
4. More use of this blog feature!

Now, im going to start on a brand-new project tommarow and within 2 weeks it'll be finished. Im also planning on re-opening www.freewebs.com/atomictoaststudios/ and revamping the entire site!

look forward to the future!
